ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
The Byng Street Boutique Hotel has rooms available with accessible bathroom facilities. For further information, please contact your Guest Host at Reception.


AIR CONDITIONING
Air conditioning for your guest room is managed by the controller located at the entrance to your room. All settings will be pre-adjusted according to the season, however please feel free to alter the temperature setting to suit your requirements.

With a key card inserted below, please press the silver power button to turn the air conditioning on. When the system is on, a solid green light will show. Please allow the system 1 to 2 minutes to start. On the screen, you will see the heating or cooling mode, set temperature and fan level.

If the room is too hot or cold, please click on Mode on the left side and select Cool or Heat. Click OK at the bottom right.

To adjust the temperature in the room, please click on Set Temp. and use the arrow up and down to select your preferred temperature. Click OK at the bottom right.

To adjust the fan level, please click on Fan on the right side. Fan levels range from Quiet, Low, Medium to High. Click OK at the bottom right.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in time is 2.00pm
Check-out time is prior to 10.00am
Early check-in and late check-out request are subject to availability and may incur a fee.


BATH ROBES
Bath robes have been provided for your enjoyment during your stay. Please contact your Guest Host at Reception if you would like to purchase a robe to take home with you.


BIKE STORAGE
For your convenience, there is a bike storage room located on the Lower Ground level of the hotel. Please contact your Guest Host at Reception if you require access.


BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in the Yallungah Dining Room and is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served from 6.30am – 9.30am on weekdays and 7.00am – 10.00am on weekends.


BUSINESS SERVICES
Please contact your Guest Host at Reception if you require business services such as photocopying. We will provide services in-house where possible, however more extensive services may need to be out-sourced. Fees may apply.


CONFERENCES
Guests of the hotel may book The Lamrock Room for a conference, meeting, private lunch or dinner for up to 16 guests. Please contact your Guest Host at Reception to discuss availability and costs.


DAMAGES
Every guest is personally liable for all charges and remains liable for all damages to the room or property therein, or any discrepancies during their stay, due to the actions of themselves or their guests. In the event of foregoing, the registered guests give The Byng Street Boutique Hotel the authority to charge the card on file for any losses incurred by the hotel, including but not limited to loss of revenue, additional cleaning and replacement or repair to any facility, furniture, fixture or fitting.


DINING
Our website includes many recommendations for dining options, however if you are looking for something different, please contact your Guest Host at Reception and we will be able to assist you further.


DO NOT DISTURB REQUESTS
Should you not wish to be disturbed at any time during your stay, please advise your Guest Host at Reception and place the “Zzzzzzz” door hanger on the outside of your door.


EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Should you identify an emergency situation, please dial Reception immediately for assistance. In the event of an alarm alert tone, please vacate the hotel premises immediately. Please note the emergency assembly location is on the footpath on Byng Street in front of the hotel. Please do not use the lift in the case of an emergency.


GRATUITIES AND SERVICE CHARGES
Tips and gratuities to our team members are at our guests’ discretion and we do not apply any compulsory service charges.


GUEST LOUNGE
Situated in the centre of the hotel, the Guest Lounge has extensive floor to ceiling windows with an artistic corten steel screen that allows dappled natural light to filter through the room. Comfortable lounge seating is complemented by a modern fireplace to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The lounge is the perfect space to read, meet with other guests or to enjoy a relaxing beverage at the end of the day. Power and data points are also available to allow you to connect to the outside world.


GUESTS IN ROOM
Unless specified and added to the booking, all accommodation is for double occupancy. Due to Fire regulations, Hotel Management must be aware of the number of guests in rooms. Please advise if this changes at any point during your stay.


HOURS OF OPERATION
Reception: 6:30am to 9:00pm
Guest Lounge: 6:30am to 9:00pm
Breakfast: 6:30am to 9:30am weekdays and 7:00am to 10:00am on weekends
Excessive noise will not be tolerated after 9:00pm. Failure to comply will result in penalty charges or eviction at the Hotel Management’s discretion.


HOUSEKEEPING
Your room will be serviced on a daily basis. Fresh towels will be provided each day with bed linen being changed after the third night of your stay. If you would like to reuse your towel, please hang it up in the bathroom.  Should you wish for your towel to be replaced, please leave it on the floor.


IN-ROOM SAFE
For the additional security of your valuables, a safe has been installed in the drawer in all guest rooms. Instructions for operation can be found on the front panel of the safe.


IRON AND IRONING BOARD
Please contact your Guest Host at Reception if you require an iron and ironing board and we will organise for these items to be brought to your room.


LOST PROPERTY
Should you have any queries during your stay regarding lost property, please contact your Guest Host at Reception. Any lost property that is found at the hotel will be kept for a three month period. Where possible, we will make contact with the owner if we are aware of their details.


LUGGAGE STORAGE
Temporary luggage storage is available without charge. If you require assistance with your luggage, please contact your Guest Host at Reception.


MEDICAL
Please contact your Guest Host at Reception if you require medical assistance. For emergencies, please call 000.


MINI BAR
Please enjoy the complimentary water, juice and fresh milk which will be replenished daily. If you would like to order from our mini bar menu, please kindly contact your Guest Host at Reception for further assistance.


 

PARKING
Assigned self-parking for one vehicle per room is available on site for in-house guests. Please check with our team where your assigned parking is. Street parking is available for over-sized or additional vehicles.


PET POLICY
No pets are permitted on the property.


POWER
To assist in our efforts of being environmentally friendly, please ensure your room key card is removed from the power slot at the entrance of your room prior to leaving the hotel.


SMOKING
The Byng Street Boutique Hotel has a strict no smoking policy. If a guest is found to have smoked in a room, they are liable for an additional $400 charge for extra cleaning.


TAXIS
Taxis can be arranged though your Guest Host at Reception. Or by calling 131 008.


TELEVISION
Please note Netflix is available on your television. Please utilise your own Netflix login and password details. Please ensure you log out of your account at the end of your viewing period.


TRANSFERS
Transfers to Orange Airport can be arranged through your Guest Host at Reception (fees apply).


WiFi
Please enjoy the complimentary WiFi provided by the Hotel. For access, please use the password that has been provided at check in.

It is with a heavy heart that we advise that our business,The Byng Street Boutique Hotel will close its doors for the last time at the end of November 2024. Following this date, a new tenant / hotel operator will occupy the building at 62 Byng Street, Orange.
